Usage
[edit source]The Infobox astronomical body template is used to summarize technical data for stars, planets, moons, or other astronomical objects.

Parameters
[edit source]- Name: The name of the astronomical object (e.g., Sun, Earth, Mars).
- image: The image filename without the "File:" prefix.
- image_caption: A brief description of the image.
- Type: The classification of the body (e.g., Main-sequence star, Terrestrial planet).
- Spectral_class: Stellar classification (for stars only, e.g., G2V). Leave blank for planets/moons.
- Distance_from_Earth: Average distance from Earth.
- Mass: The mass of the object (usually in kg, Earth masses, or Solar masses).
- Surface_temp: The average surface temperature.
- Age: Estimated age of the object.
